PawPal Child Safety Standards
PawPal is committed to maintaining a safe community and has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) or child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
These standards apply to all users, content, communications, profiles, and community features available through PawPal.
1 Zero Tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation
PawPal strictly prohibits any content or activity that sexually exploits, abuses, endangers, or facilitates the exploitation of children.
Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)
- Sexual exploitation or abuse of minors
- Grooming or attempting to establish inappropriate sexual contact with a minor
- Soliciting sexual content involving minors
- Sharing, requesting, distributing, promoting, or facilitating access to CSAM
- Sexualized content involving minors
- Using PawPal to facilitate or encourage child exploitation, trafficking, or abuse
- Any other behavior that endangers a child
Content or accounts that violate these standards may be removed and accounts may be suspended or permanently terminated.
2 Reporting Safety Concerns
PawPal provides mechanisms for users to report inappropriate users, content, or behavior. In the app, users can use the Report option in a chat or on a discovery profile. Block and Report options are available from the menu at the top of a conversation.
Users should report suspected abuse, exploitation, inappropriate conduct, or other safety concerns through the reporting options available within PawPal.

Reports involving potential child exploitation or abuse are treated seriously and reviewed as promptly as reasonably possible.
3 Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)
PawPal does not permit CSAM under any circumstances.
When PawPal obtains actual knowledge of content that may constitute CSAM, PawPal will take appropriate action consistent with applicable law and its published standards. This may include:
- Removing the content
- Restricting, suspending, or terminating the responsible account
- Preserving relevant information when legally required
- Reporting confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or another appropriate regional or law-enforcement authority when required by applicable law
PawPal does not knowingly permit the distribution, solicitation, creation, promotion, or facilitation of CSAM.
4 Cooperation With Authorities
PawPal intends to comply with applicable child-safety laws and lawful requests from competent authorities.
Where required by law, PawPal may preserve and disclose relevant information to appropriate law-enforcement agencies or child-protection authorities.
Confirmed CSAM will be handled in accordance with applicable reporting obligations, including reporting to NCMEC or the appropriate regional authority where required.
5 Enforcement
Violations of these Child Safety Standards may result in actions including:
- Content removal
- Account restrictions
- Account suspension
- Permanent account termination
- Reporting to appropriate authorities where required by law
The severity of the action may depend on the nature of the violation and applicable legal obligations.

7 Updates to These Standards
PawPal may update these Child Safety Standards to reflect changes in our services, safety practices, or applicable laws and regulations.
